We Enter the Portal of Change
The Eclipse Season Begins
Greetings fellow travelers, star gazers, dreamers of a world of beauty, health, abundance and freedom.
Today the moon sits in the deep stillness of the Nakshatra or star constellation, Sravana, in Capricorn, the Listening Star, symbolized by the flute and composed of three stars. The three stars also carry the energy of the three syllables of all of creation, AUM.
This reprise in the inner listening of Savanna gives us clarity and Source connection to prepare for the 6 month ellipse season that begins February 17th with the Sun and Moon in the Nakshatra, Dhanishta, the wealthy and the famous. The eclipse sits in the middle of a stellium or grouping of planets in Aquarius, including Venus, Rahu, Mercury and the Ascendant or Rising star in Purva Badrapada, the esthetic that stands on one leg. All of these planets are impacted by the energy of the eclipse which is the obscuring of the power of the luminaries, the Sun and Moon, who we are usually our guiding influences.
The Vedic astrologers recognized that massive collective leaps of evolution occur in the times of eclipses and where the eclipse occurs can reveal the nature of the revelations that invoke change.
Sravana also is a portal of channeling Divine guidance that assists evolution and education via call and response or knowledge gained through listening and repeating. It is connected to the ancient languages which carry the seed sounds of creation, such as Sanskrit and the ancient knowledge of the Akashic records. The deity connected to Savanna is Vishnu, the preserver of mankind. He is the embodiment of the Divine that walks among us and in times when great evil dominates the world, brings assistance for the return of the light. You could say Moses, Christ and Krishna were such beings. We are in such a time. And yet, because the stellium is in the sign of Aquarius, the sign of collective consciousness this is happening on a collective as well as individual level.
We have lived in a state of lulled passive acceptance that others have our best interest at heart and that by following agreed upon rules life will proceed in the best possible way.
Dhanishta, as the realm of the wealthy and famous is the portal of the eclipse and what has been hidden is being revealed. It is painful to wake up and see that what we believed in was not what we thought and there can be resistance and great upheaval. Thus it is no accident that the proceeding and supportive energy behind this massive evolution is Sravana, who supports us in the deep dive within to the place of peace, renewal, compassion and clarity, so that we can be anchors of light in a time of chaos and stay grounded in what is eternal, true and beneficial to all.
This is not a strategy of spiritual bypass, but a gathering of resilience to ride the storm and become leaders in the new paradigm of the arising of individual and collective wisdom and responsibility to steward our lives, our families, our communities and the Earth with love.
Find your inner wisdom in stillness, like a stone resting on the stream bed as the turbulent surface waters rush by, taking away all that is not in alignment with Universal principals. Stay in awareness of the process but from a compassionate, detached state of non engagement and build your inner resources to step forth and dream the world you want to see in the aftermath of dissolution of everything we believed in. We can't loose anything we truly need or which truly belongs in this divine creation and supports life, light and love. It is time of cleansing and re-evaluating our values.
So here we are at the beginning of a 6 month period of eclipse influence. The guidance is not to be in denial, or to be swept into the chaos, but to deepen your Source connection, purify your body, mind and spirit, connect to the Earth, like- hearted community and all that nourishes you and envision the world you want to see.
