Approaching the Autumnal Equinox

Greetings lovely fellow travelers. This week launched with the Moon in Libra ruled by Venus and Venus is also here exalted in his sign of balance and justice. We focus in on the star constellation (nakshatra) that the moon transited as the week began, which is Swati, an abbreviation of the Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment and bringer of wisdom, knowledge, the refined beauty of poetry, music, language and rhythm.

Swati sits at the center of the zodiac which is while we associate Libra with the scales of balance and justice. Librans make great diplomats. Swati is ruled by Rahu, the north node of the Moon, bringing a very determined individualistic drive and tenacity to those who are under the influence of this star. Swati is known for being a forever student, inquisitive and searching, mastering many fields of interest and yet her effort is balanced and even graceful. Her symbol is a delicate flower growing out of a rock. What appears to be frail and breakable can actually manifest great beauty and harmony in the face of obstacle.

In addition Monday was the fourth waxing day of the moon in which we celebrate Ganeshe, the elephant headed God, loved and revered by all as the keeper of wisdom, the ruler of the nine planets and the remover of obstacles.

Chanting to Ganeshe this week is recommended.

OM GAM GANAPATEYE NAMAHA. 108 repetitions before silent contemplation or meditation as you begin your day.

Ganeshe also stands at the portal of a new beginning as we shift seasons from summer to fall in the western hemisphere. With the Moon in Swati and the presence of Ganeshe, we are encouraged to reflect on the deeper meaning of mind and wisdom and how to tap into the greater quantum field of alive and loving consciousness the yogis call Mahat. It exists inside of us as the core of our minds and hearts where we are all one in the light of the Divine. We are never separate. Separation is an illusion, but how do we actually feel this and let this inner light guide our lives.

Later this week, Mars the determined warrior joins Jupiter the benevolent Guru in the water sign, Cancer creating a Dharma/Karma yoga that asks us to align our purpose with our actions and thoughts. How do we do this? We rest in the core of our hearts, the inner portal to our personal connection to the divine and listen for inspiration and guidance.

In these times of change when we are boarded with information of questionable usefulness or accuracy, it is a blessing that these energies are supporting us to stay in alignment with what is eternal and true, that we may navigate our lives and the earth into a harmonic timeline of freedom, peace, prosperity, wisdom, health, equality and justice.

Much love

Neva
